Curriculum

Sofie Rodts earned her Licentiate degree in Law with distinction at the Catholic University of Leuven and at the Université René Descartes in Paris in 2003. In 2004 she obtained her Licentiate degree in Notaryship.

In 2004 she started working at the lawyer’s office Honoré & Gits in Kortrijk, where she mainly dealt with cases related to environmental planning, urban development and environmental legislation.

Since 2010 she has worked as a lawyer at LDR, where she focuses on environmental planning matters.

  • Preparation of a spatial vision on clusters of permanently occupied weekend houses, camping sites and residential trailer parks not permitted under zoning regulations in the province of Flemish Brabant and of spatial implementation plans - "phase 2", by order of the Province of Flemish Brabant, in cooperation with Grontmij, implemented in 2010-2011.
